origin story
How I Got Here
Trained as an aerospace engineer, radicalized by algorithms. I spent four years in Mumbai learning why things fall down (IIT Bombay, Aerospace Engineering) and two more in Michigan learning why things also sometimes bend, buckle, and break in interesting ways (University of Michigan, Mechanical Engineering).
Somewhere along the way I discovered that writing code that makes 3D geometry behave is more fun than writing equations that predict it — so now I work on production CAD software: hidden-line visibility, scenegraphs, exploded views, and a tool-using AI assistant that automates CAD drawing tasks. Outside of work I build small algorithm visualizers because apparently a day job full of geometry and code isn't enough geometry and code.
— still hasn't found aliens on Mars. yet. 🚀
career, so far
Where I've Grown
Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks Corp.
Software Developer, MBD and Drafting
Building production 2D/3D CAD drawing features for the cloud-based 3DExperience platform — hidden-line visibility, hierarchical scenegraphs, rigid-body transforms for exploded views, and a tool-augmented AI assistant (LLMs + LangGraph) that automates CAD drawing workflows.
Where I teach computers to draw lines without lying about which one's in front.
ANSYS, Inc.
Software Developer, R&D Department
Implemented substructure analysis features that cut memory usage 10x, and improved geometry scoping for surface-effect thermal simulations.
Shrunk memory usage 10x. Still haven't shrunk my to-do list.
AIRBUS Group India Private Limited
Multibody Simulation, RnT Dept. (Airframe)
Optimized the overhead bin retraction mechanism on single-aisle aircraft, and conceptualized a new elliptical mechanism that doubled a crucial clearance.
Redesigned overhead bins so your carry-on has 2x more room to judge you.
IITB Mars Rover Team
Bio-assembly Subsystem Head (Mechanical)
Led structural design and CAE of a 4-DoF robotic arm for soil acquisition, and managed a team of 5 through fabrication, assembly, and testing of rover prototypes.
Built a robot arm to dig on Mars. Still haven't found aliens. Yet.

Things I've Made
Project 01
DSA Visualizer
the algorithm whisperer
A step-by-step visualizer for 11 sorting, searching, graph, and tree algorithms — with synced Python/JS/C++ code panels and keyboard-driven stepping. No build step, just open and go.
Project 02
GeoAlgo 3D
shapes in space
A Three.js-powered 3D visualizer for A* pathfinding, closest-pair, convex hull, and k-d tree construction — stepped through live in an interactive 3D scene.
Project 03
CV Algorithm Showcase
the all-seeing eye
A multi-page Streamlit app demoing classic and modern computer vision — feature detection, segmentation, and deep-learning methods — via OpenCV, PyTorch, and Ultralytics.
Project 04
GIF Generator
meme machine
A React + TypeScript app for discovering and creating GIFs via the Giphy API — one tab to search, one tab to build your own.
Project 05
Robotics Vision-Language System
the robot whisperer
A multimodal perception system using Vision Transformers and transfer learning over RGB/depth data, for object detection and scene classification in dynamic industrial settings.
Project 06
Trajectory Tracking, MPC + NN
faster than physics
Trained DNN surrogates to replicate nonlinear MPC outputs for autonomous vehicle trajectory tracking — 75% less compute, validated on unseen trajectories.
Project 07
Racing the Circuit of the Americas
need for (optimal) speed
A modified Stanley controller for a rear-wheel-drive vehicle, with a B-spline-optimized raceline under friction and track constraints.
Project 08
Multibody Dynamics of Bistable Mechanisms
physics that remembers
B.Tech thesis: built computational tools (Direct Stiffness Method and Lagrangian mechanics) to simulate planar linkage mechanisms, applied to the Jansen walking mechanism and a bistable "mechanical neuron" adder built from linked parallelogram units.
